Should I consider any dental treatment before using retainers after gap?
Q. I am 32 years old and wore braces as a teenager. 6 years ago I started wearing a retainer for awhile but now my teeth has moved forward. Can I wear the same retainer?
A. Unlikely and you will probably need to have your teeth moved back into position – I would then recommend a V loop permanent retainer.
