should i be worried about the small area of filling which has been replaced by another dentist

Q. Hello: I have a filling in one on my back teeth, a month ago a small part of that filling fell out as i didn’t feel pain i didn’t book an appointment with the dentists. for tree days I was in pain so I decided to see a dentists. She told me that there’s not decay or another cavity in that area, so she just replaced the small area which fell out. I’m quite concerned as I’m not sure if It had been better to have the whole filling removed, and because of that I could have something bad in my tooth. The thing is but the moment I’m living in another country I’m i’ll see my dentist in four weeks. Should I be worried? My teeth are in really good condition as I see my dentist at least twice a year. Thanks

A. Don’t be worried, if your dentist said theres no decay then i’m sure it will be OK

Im going on hols for a week and am waiting for a couple of fillings…one is in where i have a filling already but the dentist said it was fractured.
I have a very mild discomfort in it which hasnt got any worse but im worried if something goes wrong on hols and i cant get an appointment to have the work done till i get back. If it falls out am i likely to be in agony? or is there something the dentist can give me in case i have a prob with it on holiday?

I have been in agony with one of my molars for the past few months. In my last dental session I had work done on this tooth, and my dentist assured methat all decay had been eradicated and then filled it on. The procedure was agony and I’m too scared to go back because I cant take the pain. If I am to get it done (which I need to) I feel I really need to be sedated. Please could you tell me roughly how much this would be? I am a student in full time education at university just in case it entitles me to any discount etc. Thank you for your time, I look forward to hearing from you.
