Q. I am in need of crowns fitting to my upper front four teeth and my dentist has quoted me 1400 pounds for the job, which as a student is a terrifying prospect. He said it will have to be done privatley but didn’t explain why. Is my dentist just trying to make money out of me or is there a limit to how much treatment you are allowed through the NHS?
A. There is a limit on how much you are allowed to do, however he may be suggesting the front crowns be made privately so you can get a better result for such important teeth
