Root canal filling has come out
Q. Recently I had a root canal performed on one of my left premolars on the upper jaw. Today the filling came out leaving only a small semi circular piece of tooth left on the outer edge. What is the best dental solution to this problem? I would like the best cosmetic outcome possible as you can see this tooth when I smile.
A. Most root filled premolars need crowning with a supporting post. An all ceramic crown system like LAVA, INCERAM or PROCERA would be a good choice for most cases.
