Recently, I have noticed that my back two bottom molars are slightly darker in the crevices. Does this mean that I have cavities?
Q. Hi! I have never had a cavity before. I clean my teeth well and have never had a problem. Recently, I have noticed that my back two bottom molars are slightly darker in the crevices. Does this mean that I have cavities?
A. Hi – Sometimes this is just staining from tea coffee etc… in the fissures of the teeth. It would be worth checking with an x-ray or a cavity detection probe just to make sure the teeth are healthy.
