Q. I am 61 years old and as seems to be with many older people I have considerable movement of my lower teeth resulting in them bunching in the front. My upper teeth now also appear to be moving and I would like to have them corrected. Is this possible? I should say I enjoy good health both orally and physically and participate in regular excercise and have never smoked. I visit the dentist for check ups regularly but have been told I am too old to bother with this. Your opinion would be appreciated.
A. You are never too old !! You have as much right as anyone to have straight beautiful teeth if that is what you want. Provided you have healthy gums your options will be orthodontics, veneers, crowns, bridges or implants. Please come and see me for a free cosmetic consultation to discuss these matters further
