Options for acid erosion of teeth and dental insurance.

Q. I am a UNITED STATES 43 male, and just had checkup. I have reflux and have ground teeth into the denton. Kanines are level w/others. molars have very wide fillings. backs of front teeth have been acid washed to denton, i guess. told i need 14 crowns immediately. front upper 6 +canines+back molars. $12K. is there some insurance I can buy to offset this? or is it too late, since I already saw the DR. I am scheduled for this friday. Please respond ASAP. URGENT to know. what is your advice? do you think this is urgent/necessary??

A. If teeth have severe acid erosion the options are onlays  or crowns depending on how much tooth is present.  I am a British dentist and do not have knowledge of your insurance schemes

I wanted to have a consultation to see what could be done to make my teethlook nicer as my old dentist said because of erosion my teeth have become smaller.
