Q. I have one tooth near the front that is very grey due to an old filling. my dentist says the tooth is healthy and leave it alone until it needs a new filling or crown (white next time)but i am aware that it is grey. could i have it painted white?

Assuming you are prepared to pay privately to improve the appearance I would think that replacement of the filling offers the best long term solution.
