Hi am 17 and have veneers on my two front teeth one of them is dicouluring very bad so my dentist said now that my gums have developed i shoul have a crown place on it is this the right thing to do? because when it discoloured before she simply used something to make it whiter but now thatmy gums have developed she says i should have crowns placed on them please help my appointment is in a few weeks thank you for your time

A. I can’t really tell what is the best type of treatment for you, however it sounds like it would be worth thinking about a more permanent solution now the gums have matured, you should ask your dentist again what she thinks would be best in the long term
