My Two Front Teeth Are Overlapping And It’s Affecting My Confidence. What Type Of Brace Should I Consider?

Q.
Hi Dr Riten, my two front teeth are slightly uneven, one protrudes out and slightly crosses over the other. The other tooth seems to be straight. This has been a problem for me for many years, however I feel like the problem is getting worse and knocking my confidence, so much so It’s affecting my social life. I would like some information on what the best course of action to even them out would be? Is it possible to have a removable brace or retainer if this is only a slight problem? And how much approximately would it be? And how long would I need to wear it?

Many Thanks. I hope to hear from you.

Hello. Always happy to help. Based on your questions I feel I would need to see you to give the best options, fixed braces are generally better and can be tooth coloured or sometimes placed on the inside of the teeth to hide them. Also some removable aligners may work, but this treatment is known to take some time. Thank You.
