My treatment for gum disease has left me with gaps between my teeth
Q. i am being treated for gum disease, with good results, but my gums have receeding exposing gaps in between my teeth. The gap between my fron teeth is particularly bothering me - is there something I can do?
A. I would consult the practitioner who is treating your gum disease and only look for corrective therapy once the gum disease has proven to have stabilised for the appropriate time.
They will be able to advise you whether you have enough bone support left to the teeth to undergo orthodontic treatment or whether porcelain veneers is a better way to close the gaps
