My top plate is ill fitting and sore can I get implants?
Q. Hi Dr Moore,,,,a year a go, result of gum infections i had all of my top teeth removed, and a full top plate fitted in last year i have had to have another plate made but now that is very ill fitting rubbing and sore-ness,, iam looking in to inplants and have spoke to a few dentist,, but getting conflickting feed backs,,,,one says need all bottom teeth removed another says dont need to remove them,,, have had price,s that no- way i can aford others prices seem good,,,, but i just would like to beable to smile again with out teeth near dropping out of month still a young person that has lost her smile,, what would u advise,,, mant thanks
A. Implants would be great if you have a propoer assessment of the bone prior to treatment. Only then can you obtain an accurate quote. It would certainly be an improvement on a loose plate
