When you were younger, it sounds as though when you had trauma to your baby tooth, the permanent ADULT tooth underneath could possibly have been damaged too. I’m sure the tooth structure is fine, but the aesthetics may not be as pleasing as it can be. There are options to have the tooth veneered to mask the discoloured tooth etc.
I would advise that you have a conmsulttaion with your dentist or a cosmetic dental practice to see hwhat treatment is recommended for you. Expect to have x-rays of the tooth to see if it is healthy first.
Good Luck
