Q. I have had a root filling and a gold cap put over the tooth. The tooth keeps getting infected and it may be better to have it out. I have a 5 tooth bridge one tooth away form from the cap and if nothing is replaced it could undermine the bridge. Ive been told that a good option is to have an implant but the cost is 2,000 which i cannot afford can it be done chaeper or have you got any suggestions?
A. That is a reasonable cost for an implant. The only other option would be a denture if there is not a tooth either side of the gap
