my tooth has a large filling which needs to be filled

Q. my tooth has a large filling which needs to be filled again as there is a crack. Is it better to have a crown or shall i stick to the filling

A. if the filling is over half the size of the tooth, this is an indication for an onlay made of porcelain or gold, alternatively a full crown. hope this is helpful.
