My teeth are sensitive and hurting after veneers were fitted, is there anything I can do?

Q.
i had veneers abroad and since having them i have been in so much pain and sensitivity. had them fitten on 2/12/10. they were ill fitted and my dentist filed them down but my jaws are hurting as its altered my position. also the cold is unbearable and pain. there are gaps in my gumline and when cold water or air gets to it its unbearable. is there anything i can do to deal the gaps and get rid of the pain and sensitivity? thanks
A.
It sounds like there has been a problem with the adhesive bonding process of the veneers to your enamel/dentine. Sensitivity can occur after veneer treatment but usually goes back to normal quite quickly. They may need replacing with new ones unfortunately, if it has been a while since cementing them

I have had my veneers for over 30 years. They are in excellent condition but lately they have been uncomfortable. They throb. I noticed that behind my veneers on the front teeth they are very dark . I do have them cleaned when I get a regular cleaning however, lately I have not had my teeth cleaned for sometime as once a week I use peroxide diluted. And my gums do not have any tardar.. Could the darkness be a sign that my teeth are not breathing? Is there anyway this can be corrected? I am using my friend’s computer to write this as I was searching for any answer on line…

Please let me know. Thank you.
