My son had a brace removed in 2008 and has been wearing a retainer since. However 2 teeth at the top either side of his big teeth have gone back slightly. Our orthodondist has recommended a train tarck brace to be worn for 6 months but has quoted C2A32,000. Cn you give me a rough idea how much thesame would be with you. Also he will not allow appointments during school time/holidays without extra charge. Please advise.

I have an overbite caused by years of habitual tongue thrusting, and am looking at getting invisalign to correct this. My teeth are in very good condition, I have no fillings etc at all. I have had several options posed to me about what I may be able to do to correct by tooth alignmen. Suggestions have included Wisodom tooth extraction, molar extracion and filing to remover some of the width from teeth to allow ample space for the movement of my teeth. I wanted to know whether you think filing a small amount from the width of some back teeth would be a better option to extraction?

ould you tell me, have you had much experience in using invisalign to treat people with severe overbites? Mine is about 2.5mm and i would really, really like to get it sorted out as it makes me look pretty goofy but i would also like something kinda hidden, so no one will be able to tell that im wearing anything. Do you think this would be the best brace system for me or should i look for something else. thanks

Dear Sir/Madam, Invisalign can be used to correct overbites and overjets. In my experience we have treated upto 12mm Overjets/Overbites

Ariel Says :

Hello could you please tell me if invisalign can be used on the bottom teeth as well as the top? Both my top and bottom are pretty misaligned, but i would like a treatment that is more unnoticeable than the usual braces. Is it possible to treat both top and bottom? and if not are there other options for me? thanks for your time and any help you can offer

July 27th, 2011 at 08:47 PM
Lucia Says :

Hi Yes Invisalign can be used to treat the upper and lower teeth and is recommended to do both together, else you will find the time taken is longer than necessary. Your other options are lingual braces (on the inside of the teeth) such as Incognito or Social 6. Good luck

Hi I am about to start my Invisalign Lite treatment and was wondering whether the ‘Lite’ would be enough to straighten my overbite. My front two teeth are slightly larger than the rest of the teeth, but it’s partly because the gum has receeded further up showing more of the two teeth. So just to clarify, would the ‘Lite’ treatment be enough to straighten the overbite and reduce the effect of the larger two teeth at the front or would the Full Invisalign treatment work better. My dentist has said my teeyh should correct within 7 months, so ‘Lite’ is the most beneficial option, I would just like to get a second opinion. Many Thanks

Zane Says :

I really can’t say without carrying out a full clinical assessment. It is possible for treatments to take 7 months and it depends on the complexity of the case.

i have read different bits on information on invisalign and i understand that you have to wear different aligners as the treatment goes along, but i just wanted to know how many aligners does it generally take to treat an overbite? thank you for your time and help

Yosef Says :

Hi You change to a new aligner every two weeks. It is impossible to give you even an estimation without seeing your tooth position and the depth of overbite. I suggest a consultation and your Invisalign dentist should be able to give you an approximate time frame.

hi I have been looking at invisalign among other braces to sort out my crooked smile and it seems that it may be one of the gentlest braces available, would you agree. I ask, because I have incredibly sensitive teeth, and although i really want the treatment, i also do not want to be in constant pain. Do you think invisalign would be a good brace for me to choose? thank you for any advice and info you can give

August 5th, 2011 at 08:47 PM
Nasir Says :

Hi there! Invisalign is one of the gentlest braces and you will definitely not be in constant pain! The aligners feel tight the first couple of days but that’s all. It would be best to visit a dentist that provides invisalign to determine if you would be a suitable candidate.

What do they do for overbits?

August 5th, 2011 at 08:47 PM

Hi It depends on the cause and severity. But you can wear braces to retract (pull back) the upper teeth reducing the overbite. I would ask your Invisalign dentist to see if Invisalign can treat this alone.

Craig Says :

hello would you recommend invisalign for me? I have a large overbite, which makes my smile look hideous and goody and i am always covering my mouth to avoid anyone looking at them. I feel, so, so self conscious and would really like a brace that wouldn’t draw more attention to my teeth, which is why i really like the idea of invisalign. Have you successfully treated overbites with invisalign before? thanks for your time

August 10th, 2011 at 08:47 PM
Ryley Says :

Hi there! Yes we have, open bites and deep overbites with equal success. The best thing to do is be assessed if you would be a good candidate for the treatment and if so, Invisalign is a very discreet and comfortable brace.

Dear Enquirer, it may sound like you have an open bite where the teeth do not meet together. In very experienced hands it is possible to bring the teeth into occlusion/bite with Invisalign.

My son is year and half through the 24 month braces treatment plan; which was going fine so far. Two months back office put bands over the braces. With in two months his front teeth are more protruding that it was before and he started lisping now. As per Dr the bands confused his jaw muscles and says his lower jaw is now in right position which it was not so far. As per Dr his was pulling his lower jaw in front and now it gone to its right position (13 yrd old). We are really concerned: can this happen? Dr is extending plan to now extract upper teeth to bring the upper teeth back. This is really disturbing for us; not sure wether to take second opinon now.

Hi, my top and lower jaws do not sit proper, with them going off in different directions and it makes my smile look really horrible. Can you use invisalign to treat this kind of thing and if i had to wear braces on my top and bottom teeth how much for would this cost than normal treatment? thank you

August 11th, 2011 at 08:47 PM
Ben Says :

It is very difficult to say whether invisalign is suitable for you. It really depends on the complexity of your bite. Costs can start from £1500 for very simple cases and go to £5000 for the more lenghtly treatments. Not everyone can have invisalign therefore I would recommend a consultation so that you can find the best option for you and the exact cost

hello i have been wearing invisalign for about 3 weeks now and have been feeling some discomfort around my gums. At first i thought it was just my mouth getting used to the brace, but after 3 weeks i don’t think the swelling is going down. What do you think could be going on? Is there anything i could do ask i really want to keep wearing my braces. thank you

August 18th, 2011 at 08:47 PM
Bailey Says :

he soreness could be the edge of the aligner being very close to the gum. The gum does settle around the area. You could try keeping the area clean to prevent gingivitis, use listerine or use a smooth bendy nail file to smooth any rough edges

August 18th, 2011 at 08:47 PM
Katerina Says :

Hi Yes Invisalign should work for this. It is vital retainers are fitted at the end of the treatment (whatever type of brace was used). This mabe fixed or removable such as the Invisalign Vivera retainers. Good luck

hello I play a lot of contact sports for at least 20 hours a week. I know that you have to wear the invisalign pieces for at least 22 hours a day, is there anything I can do to combine a guard of some sort with the treatment. I need the treatment for some wonky teeth at the front of my mouth thanks

August 31st, 2011 at 08:47 PM
Andy Says :

Hi, Although not designed to guard the teeth in contact sports, the aligners themselves will provide some protection. We have treated a number of premiership footballers with Invisalign, who were all happy enough to wear their aligners during matches if that helps your decision making. The aligners themselves are really quite thin so I suppose a further guard could be made to fit over your aligners if your chosen contact sport required although we have never had to provide this up to now. I hope this helps Best wishes

Jordyn Says :

At the start of my treatment, I noticed that 21 aligners have been ordered. Does that mean my treatment should be complete in 10 and 1/2 months? My orthodontist estimates 18 months. Why the discrepancy?

October 6th, 2011 at 08:47 PM
Clifton Says :

Hi With the simulation it is aimed that the treatment will take only 21 aligners (42 weeks). However often minor movements are required to ‘tweak’ the final tooth position and ensure your teeth are in the optimal position. This is a process known as refinement and is included in your Invisalign treatment. This will require further aligners and hence time. I would trust your orthodontist’s experience, though everything may be perfect after the 21 aligners! Good luck

It is difficult to say what is the best treatment for you without a full clinical assessment. Treatment starts from £1500 for mild cases and can vary depending on complexity. I would recommend a consultation to find out if you are an ideal candidate and what the cost would be

October 27th, 2011 at 08:47 PM

could you tell me if invisalign can be used on the bottom teeth as well and also if invisalign are good for treating crowded teeth. I have too many teeth in my mouth and im guessing i will need an couple of extractions to make space. do you think this is what will happen? thank you

November 16th, 2011 at 08:47 PM
Sebastian Says :

Hello there! The majority of the cases we treat with Invisalign are crowded cases. The treatment time will vary according to the degree of the crowding and if rotations of teeth are also required. So far, only 2 patients of ours had to have a single tooth removed, in order for their treatment to be successful. The vast majority do not have to have any teeth extracted. It is best if an Invisalign providing dentist had a look at you first! Best Regards,

Hi, The degree of rotation of this front tooth would be a big determining factor when deciding if Invisalign was the best solution for you. We treat a large number of patients of your age and beyond with Invisalign treatment. My advice would be to seek out a recommended Invisalign Doctor and arrange a consultation to assess your suitability for treatment.

hi is it the done thing to have bits of your tooth removed or shaved down to have invisalign? I haven’t yet started my treatment as I am a bit wary of anything that involves cutting down my own natural and healthy teeth. Is this teeth shaving a common practice with invisalign and if so are they any potential side effects? thank you

April 4th, 2012 at 08:47 PM
Cedric Says :

Hi, We very often use what is called IPR (inter proximal reduction) or ‘stripping’ throughout the Invisalign process to help straighten and align the teeth. IPR involves creating very small spaces between the teeth at pre determined positions. The sizes of the spaces created is small and usually ranges between 0.2-0.5mm. Your initial clincheck will show you where the IPR will be required and to what extent it is needed. Cheers

Hi there! I have completed my Invisalign treatment which wasn’t all that successful to be honest, but that’s another story. My orthodontist showed me the door when I asked her for my records as I wanted a second opinion. I completed the treatment October 2010 and have since been wearing the last trays part-time. Do you think it will be okay to use the last trays as my retainer as I have no way of obtaining a retainer since the break-down of communication. I would appreciate any advice you could offer in assessing my situation. I have browsed online the options for minor tooth alignment, and the Inman Aligner seems to be sufficient for my needs. I am nearly 28, and the only teeth that would seem to benefit from adjustment are some of my incisors: upper left central (rotating slightly out), upper right lateral (rotating in and set slightly back), and some of the lower incisors (maybe because of the uppers). The upper central has been this way since it grew in, but I think the upper lateral has gradually moved for the past several years and seems to be putting some additional pressure on the one below it. About the procedure itself, might wisdom tooth extraction and/or tooth reshaping be necessary for treatment with this product? And, if I were to e-mail photos of my teeth, could you suggest whether this seems to be appropriate treatment? Thank you.

I have been told that I need treatment on my teeth by my dentist as I have quite severe crooked teeth and gaps. I am moving to Spain in a few months but I really want to get started with treatment. My dentist suggested I try the Inman aligner because I wanted the Invisalign brace because its invisible, but my dental problems are too severe for that one to work. Should I try and have it done in Spain or start it here i am not sure how it would work having treatment in one country then living in another?

May 28th, 2012 at 08:47 PM
Angel Says :

I am sorry but the Inman Aligner is only for the front teeth and much more limited than Invisalign. If you were told your teeth are too severe for Invisalign the Inman Aligner might not be good for you.

I have looked into the Inman aligner recently after a friend saw something about it on TV but I don’t have high hopes of it working. Do you think it would work? Any advice you can give me would be great.

Kaley Says :

Hello, it depends on the severity of the problem. The Inman aligner can workd very well in malpositioned front teeth but you would require a consultation with a dentist of your choice to see if this is an option for your and if not, what are the alternatives for you

Kelton Says :

Could you tell me how much pressure the inman aligner put on your teeth? I would like my teeth straightened but one of my front teeth is a dental implant and i am unsure how much pressure it would be able to take. I keep in good dental health and always look after my teeth and the implant was because of an accident i had, which knocked out a tooth, so there is no worry about any decay and my gums are strong, but again, as the dental implant isn’t actually a proper tooth I was just interested in how much it could stand the pressure and would it move along with my other natural teeth? thank you for your help

The Inman aligner applies gentle forces and it would not move the dental implant

But now after 3 years of that treatment, I am once again feeling the gap going wider. It really affects my confidence. So, is there any solution to permanently fix them in the right place. Do you think it is likely that the inman aligner will be good for me, even though I require both top and bottom treatment and even though i have previously had gum disease? many thanks,

Itzel Says :

Upper and Lower treatment is common but you will need to be sure your gum disease is in check.

Tavion Says :

I wore a brace quite a long time ago when I was a teenager and now that I am older my teeth have moved, not as badly as they were before but they don’t look as straight. I used to wear a brace that was removable before the metal brace and they really affected my speech quite badly. I have been thinking about getting Invisalign or the Inman aligner for my teeth but I worried about the device affecting my speech and I need to be able to speak properly for my job. So my question really id does the Inman Aligner affect speech? Thanks for your help.

July 5th, 2012 at 08:47 PM
Kaiden Says :

The Inman Aligner WILL most likely affect your speech, Invisalign a lot less. However you can wear the Inman Aligner for 16 Hours a day and still get a good result.

Quinten Says :

I finished my inman aligner treatment a bit too early. I finished it a year ago because i had to move away from my dentist in the north of england. So ive had a plastic retainer since. But im not happy with the result and want to finish my treatment Properly with another dentist here in london. However, the part of the aligner that goes across the front teeth has snapped. How much will it be to get this fixed and who can fix it for me? I would really appreciate some help with this.

July 10th, 2012 at 08:47 PM
Zayne Says :

You will need to reach out to a provider near you to answer this as we have no control regarding fees. Your aligner should be able to be repaired but you will need a new impression and you will need a dentist to oversee your treatment.

Hello, I have too many teeth on my upper jaw and one dentist has said that two would need to be extracted, another dentist said that i don’t need any extractions and a brace would work fine. So, I am now confused! My front teeth buck inwards and cause me a lot of pain and cleaning my teeth is quite difficult. My dentist said that the reason they have bucked inwards is because there are too many teeth and they are pushing them inwards. If I decide to get a brace which I probably will do you think the Inman aligner would be suitable for bucked teeth?

My issue is my front two teeth are out of line, one is slightly forward and the other slightly back and i have a gap between the two. However all my other teeth are fine. Can this be treated with invisalign express? How much and how long would treatment take.

September 6th, 2012 at 08:47 PM
Maci Says :

Dear enquirer, Invisalign Express is not what I do. It involves stripping your front teeth which is not the best way of doing dentistry

Hello doctor, recently I had a run in with a few people and they elbowed me in the face causing one of my front teeth to become unaliened with the rest. Before then my teeth had been perfectly straight due to braces. Now my tooth is set back and I was wondering what I can do to fix this problem?

Looking for Inman Alinger to straight bottom front teeth. But have LF5 and LF6 teeth missing. LF7 is a small teeth which had crown bridge on top but now falling off. My implant dentist said that I may still able to wear Inman using LF7 or 4 and I should finish all the teeth straightening treatment before he does implants in LF5 and LF6 places. Can I still have IA with molar and pre-molar missing? Many thanks

Hello this is possible it is best to let the Inman Aligner laboratory have a look at your models though. The lab needs to assess that they can get enough anchorage to make it work tif

Hello I’m 19 and I have unstraight teeth so my bottom teeth go infront of my top it’s now very painful to eat and just in general as it gets really achy and causes me loads of unbearable pain and headaches is there any free help I can get as I don’t have a job yet with any types of braces on the NHs or anything Else that will help straighten them and improve my bite I do look after them brush them twice a day and everything it’s just I really need help cause of the pain

September 26th, 2012 at 08:47 PM
Andrew Says :

Braces aren’t available on the NHS at your age, it sounds like you might need other treatment as crooked teeth shouldn’t hurt any more than straight ones

Hi I am a 47 year old woman with an underbite that has resulted in my top teeth being eroded/worn down by the bottom teeth over the years. one of my front two teeth has now come loose and has been grinding against one of my bottom front teeth and both are sticking out (ridiculuously) and hurting. What options would I have? I have a large bottom jaw and this problem is making my other teeth hurt.

September 26th, 2012 at 08:47 PM
Esmeralda Says :

It’s likely that you will need a full reconstruction of the bite and teeth with a possible orthodontic involvement and the removal of some teeth if they are loose. Get an opinion from an experienced dentist

Have you treated anyone with a protruding jaw before with the Inman aligner? I feel really self-conscious about it and I just really want to get it sorted out, but I am unsure about what is the best braces to treat it or even if Iâ??ll need more than braces. I find that it affects my ability to eat and my self-confidence is just incredibly low so any help you could give me on the matter would be really great, thanks for taking the time to read my email and I hope you can help doctor and I look forward to hearing from you very soon, Thank you

I have a large overbite at the front of my mouth and coupled with that a weird, misaligned bite, which just makes my smile even more awful. Do you think that the Inman aligner is an ideal treatment option for someone in my condition? And could you please give me your longest and shortest treatment times, using the Inman aligner? I would really like to get my teeth sorted out as soon as possible, so just want to gauge what kind of treatment times I’m in for thank you for your time doctor and any information you can give.

October 9th, 2012 at 08:47 PM
Shaun Says :

The Inman Aligner is for minor to moderate front teeth only issues, it sounds like your situation is much more severe. I think you will most likely need traditional orthodontics.

Marcella Says :

You have several options. It might be possible to use an Inman aligner or the Invisalign i-7 system. These usually cost in the region of £1500-£2000. You should come for an assessment to figure out what’s best to solve your problem and to ensure you are dental fit and suitable for these types of treatments. Hope that helps for now Kind regards

Is there a dental surgery that can be done to straighten teeth? I’ve had braces before but my teeth have shifted and I don’t want braces again. Most of my teeth are fine its the top left part of my mouth that has shifted. The teeth have shifted to where they are on an angle and sticking outward, and its only three of my teeth. It begins at the big front tooth and ends at the “vampire tooth”. It makes my mouth look wide and leaves me with an awkward smile. I was wondering if there is another option instead of the braces being done again.

Veneers might work if you’re not happy to have more braces, maybe call a few cosmetic practices who show veneer work on their website such as http://www.advancedentalclinic.com

Bobby Says :

I had braces when I was about sixteen or seventeen. But I lost my retainer just after I turned eighteen. All other teeth are ok but one. I’m twenty-two now and it’s getting annoying. So basically, the bottom three front teeth… The middle one has been pushed back a bit and now the teeth either side overlap the now behind tooth. There is still a gap in-between the outside teeth but obviously there still keeping the middle one from coming forward. What could be some of the things I could get done to sort the tooth out? How much would they cost?

October 10th, 2012 at 08:47 PM
Dylan Says :

As a guide a fixed brace such as 6 month smile will cost around £1800 or Invisalign which tends to be more expensive

Brice Says :

I really want to get my teeth straightened, but my teeth are also messed up further because of staining due to antibiotics as a child. I know that teeth whitening isn’t an option with staining like that but I just wondered if I got my teeth sorted out with the Inman aligner could I then have veneer treatment? The problem with my teeth mainly involves my two front teeth, which stick out a lot! Do you think I should get braces and then veneers or just go straight to veneers? Thank you for any help and advice you can give, I really appreciate it!

October 16th, 2012 at 08:47 PM
Freddy Says :

It is better and safer to align the teeth before veneers but you could do either.

Is it ok to have Invisalign after teeth whitening? I have used a home whitening kit for several years now every few months, and after reading in the news about the negative effects of teeth whitening and I am worried about the damage I may have done to my teeth. I would really like to have Invisalign to close a gap between my front two teeth, but am worried that it would cause further damage to my teeth thanks.

October 23rd, 2012 at 08:47 PM
Hugo Says :

Hi Yes it is perfectly safe. I presume you have had home whitening kits from a dentist, in which case they have been tried and tested. Your Invisalign dentist will also review the health of your teeth before proceeding. Good luck.

What would you say is the average treatment of an Inman aligner patient? I’m looking to get my teeth straightened in 4 months for my sister’s wedding and I’ve heard really good things about the Inman aligner, including the quick treatment times. I have a problem with gaps between my front teeth, and I think it would probably be classed as a spacing problem, is the Inman aligner suitable for the treatment of something like that? Would really like to get the ball rolling on my treatment so any help you could give would be great thanks, hope to speak to you soon.

October 23rd, 2012 at 08:47 PM
Nikolas Says :

Hi there the Inman can treat space cases but only if the teeth are proclined (stick forward) if you have big gaps but the teeth but they are upright..it may not be suitable. 4 months is a normal time period at the most. Make sure you use a certified dentist though!

Junior Says :

I’m looking to get my front two teeth uncrossed in time for a wedding. I was think for a while about veneers as they can be put on really quickly, but seeing as I’ve got 4 months before the wedding do you think it would be possible for the Inman aligner to have this corrected in time? Also, what is the price of the Inman aligner in comparison to two dental veneers? I’m still kind of interested in veneers, but I hear that you have to have half your tooth shaved off and that makes me a little bit nervous. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated doctor, thanks for your time.

I am getting married in a few months and wondered if the Inman aligner could have me ready in time to be wed? I have two very sticky out front teeth and I think the Inman aligner would be a really good treatment for me. How long do they generally take? I have about 3 months till my wedding would that be enough time for the aligners to work? Also, how much is the general cost? I’ve seen a price of £1500 is that a normal price for the Inman aligner? Thanks for your time and for any help you can give doctor.

October 30th, 2012 at 08:47 PM
Abigayle Says :

I can not comment on price as each persons needs are different and the cost is usually associated with time to treat. Your needs do sound like something the Inman Aligner could help so please visit a provider for a free consultation.

Makenzie Says :

Hey Dr Tif, I had a consultation with my Dentist and he said that I can just have the Inman aligner on my bottom teeth. However he wants me to do both because one tooth on my upper teeth is slightly rotated, eventhough my upper teeth are not bad at all. What do you think the consequences would be on having the Inman aligner on just my bottom teeth?

October 30th, 2012 at 08:47 PM
Anita Says :

Hi, your dentist is probably worried about how your bite might worsen if you only align the lowers .it may be impossible to only do your lower alone and you may find that the bite at the top stops your lower teeth from moving. this is not uncommon you can mail me pictures of your teeth if you want me to check [email protected]

I recently have completed my treatment with Invisalign with a clinic in Harley Street. Yet, my two front teeth are still protruding. Although, my arch is now aligned. I expected my front two teeth to be pushed further back. I have now been told that I will have to have 4 teeth taken out and fixed braces for 18 months to ensure that they are pushed in. Are there any other options that can be taken other than this? Thank you

November 6th, 2012 at 08:47 PM

Speak to your dentist and ask if they can create space in between some teeth to allow the front teeth to come in more.

Hello, I was all set to have Invisalign treatment but last week I tripped and fell on my mouth and now my front teeth feel sensitive. I have booked an appointment to see my dentist but I just wanted to have some questions answered now to prepare myself. The teeth are a little sensitive but are not wobbly or loose and haven’t turn blue or anything. In your general opinion do you think I would still be a good candidate for Invisalign? Thank you very much for your time.

Hi, I went for the ‘light’ Invisalign option and have finished my treatment and had my one set of refinements but am not happy with the results. Please can you advise me what my options are? My teeth don’t look like the final image I was shown on the animation. If my only option is to pay for my refinement, can I have this done at another dentist as I don’t think I’m getting the best treatment from mine? Thanks.

Kailey Says :

I thought that I had the patience of a saint, but after three refinements after my initial Invisalign treatment I feel that I am going to lose it soon! Is this normal to have so many results or should I just tell my dentist to stop. I’m due to go back in in 2 weeks times and I just really really want to end treatment now. I am happy with my smile now; do you think I can just stop treatment now? Thank you.

November 6th, 2012 at 08:47 PM
Jacqueline Says :

You can stop your treatment any time you want and have retainers, if your happy then its your choice however do take your dentists advice and let then explain the reasons for more treatment.

Hi, I had the metal braces on two years a go for 18 months ago. After they were taken off I was given a retainer. I didn’t always wear my retainer, which is my fault. My teeth have since moved out and I’ve got a small gap between my two front teeth, but it is not that bad . I don’t want to have the metal braces put back on so I was wondering if there was anything you would suggest? I’ve seen the Invisalign and was wondering if that would be any good for making them straight again? Many thanks.

January 3rd, 2013 at 08:47 PM
Darion Says :

Dear enquirer, you may have an anterior open bite, which may be developmental or you have a tongue thrust. Invisalign will work in your case, but you have to be assessed properly. We charge about £3000 for full arch Invisalign upper and lower and this can be put on a 0% finance plan.

Does Invisalign work? I saw many websites and many dentist advised that Invisalign works for very minor tooth problems? What is your answer… because I do not like metal braces.

January 3rd, 2013 at 08:47 PM
Raymond Says :

Hi Invisalign has evolved over the last 14 years to treat more complex problems. It does still have some limitations but can treat lots of difficult cases, so long as it is worn correctly. A few dentists have more experience with it and so are more confident in using it. Good luck.

Josue Says :

Hello my wedding is fast approaching and I can’t believe I’ve left this until the last minute, but I would really like my teeth straightened in time for my ‘big day’. I have about 3 months until my wedding and the problem with my teeth are my two front teeth, which have a gap between them. I would really love to have the perfect smile in time for my wedding, so do you think that the Inman aligner would be able to achieve these results in 3 months? I guess you would have to see me before hand to make a proper assessment but generally what is the average treatment time? Thank you.

January 8th, 2013 at 08:47 PM
Leroy Says :

Closing gaps is easy if you have room to pull the teeth back, if not we can use a IDA (inman diastema appliance) either way you will be treated in 6 to 10 weeks.

Colton Says :

Can you have a retainer fitted after you have had Inman aligner treatment? I had treatment a few years ago with a normal brace and my dentist at the time didn’t fit me with anything and so of course, my lovely tooth gap has reopened again and all of my old insecurity has crept back with it. Would the Inman aligner be able to close up the gap again and would I be able to get some kind of fixed retainer or even a removable retain to stop this from happening again? Also, how much is the treatment on average? Thanks for your time.

January 8th, 2013 at 08:47 PM
Brodie Says :

Hello After all orthodontic treatment you need a retainer.. You can either use a removable one at night or even better have one bonded to your teeth- then you never need to worry.

Rashad Says :

I have both a gummy and crooked smile, so you can understand my annoyance! Would I be able to have the Inman aligner and then work done to correct my gummy teeth? Which way round would it be best to do this? Gummy smile fixed first and then healed or straighten out my teeth and then have the gums treated? I can think of nothing better than being able to smile, without worrying about how I look, so I will be grateful for any information you can give me , thank you very much, I eagerly await your answer.

Kallie Says :

Hello do you think that the Inman aligner is suitable for someone like me in my situation who needs the top and bottom teeth straighten. Mine are out of sync, so to speak and crooked, so all in all looking pretty awful. Do you think the Inman aligner would be able to treat all that or should I look out for another type of brace? Is there anything you could recommend if the Inman aligner wasn’t the brace for me? Would you also be able to recommend a general price for that? Thank you very much if you can all the best.

January 8th, 2013 at 08:47 PM
Ella Says :

The Inman Aligner is for minor to moderate correction of the front 4 teeth (4 on the upper, 4 on the lower) your situation seems more severe.
