My Teeth Are Moving Forward Again, Which Type Of Brace Should I Get?

Q.
Hi Dr, I used to have bracket braces years ago, my teeth had straightened however my front upper two teeth have gradually come forward since and I feel that they stand out which I don’t like. It has really annoyed me since I thought I was done with the whole braces thing but more so it’s started to knock my confidence again. I don’t want to be spending too much money just to get those teeth fixed, I want to get the right braces for what I need to be fixed in terms of teeth straightening. will you advise on which options I should be looking at?
A.
Hello, thank you very much for your question. This problem is not uncommon and orthodontic treatment is only permanent if the correct aftercare regiment is followed. There are a few options for braces that focus solely on the front teeth, or the ‘social six’ teeth as they are sometimes known. The best one for you in my opinion would be the Inman aligner or a single arch 6 month smile treatment followed by a permanent retainer wear for life.
