My teeth are getting sensitive to the cold since having porcelain veneers, what could be wrong?
Q. I had porcelain veneers since 05, In just the past few days I am getting sensetive to cold behind my eye tooth and canine tooth on the right side. It comes and goes. What could be wrong? I used, for the first time a sensetive toothpaste and that seemed to help.,
A. The veneer could be starting to debond and that is why it is becoming sensitive alternativly the nerve could be starting to die of. You should get your dentist to take a look and take an x-ray just to rule out any infection in the tooth.
