my teeth are deteriorating through gum disease

Q. Hi what advice would you give to me, someone whose teeth are deteriorating through gum disease. i am 43, my teeth are receding and i do not want to wear a denture. would it be better to start removing and replacing my teeth gradually, rather than lose many at once ? yours gratefully

A.
If you have gum disese, there is a possibility that this may be able to be controlled and stabilised. Therfore this means that you may not require your teeth to be removed.

We see many patients at the practice who have gum disease, and we have very high record in stabilising this.

If the teeth have a poor prognosis, and can not be saved, then there are a variety of options in replacing teeth.
