My teeth are completely rotten is my only option is to remove it all and replace with dentures

Q. Im 24 and my teeth are completly rotten. I had my front teeth removed when I was 11 and didn’t have a denture fitted untill I was 14 so by that time there was only room for one tooth at the front. I have no confidence because of my teeth I only have 19 and even though I brush them often they are all bad. Is my only option to have them all removed and denture plates fitted what would the dissadvantages of this be? I have heard about implants by couldn’t afford them and I dont want to go for any length of time with no teeth. thanks

A. It sounds like removal of the remaining teeth might be an option. at my clinic we can remove the teeth and fit a set of dentures at the same time so you won’t walk around without teeth. You could then consider implants at a later date. Let me know if I can be of any further help by e-mail on [email protected]. I maybe able to arrange a free consultation to assess your needs. I am having all of my teeth removed next week however, they do not provide teeth – just general anesthesia and remove them all. The oral surgeon told my my gums will have to heal before doing my teeth however I had two friends have theirs done last year and they got their teeth the same day. Will they be able to take impressions without any teeth in my mouth?

I have a clotting disorder called protein c deficiency and am on Arixtra injections daily because coumadin didn’t work for me … I still through DVT’s and PE’s.

Is this why they must let my gums heal first? Please advise. I’m very very scared!!! Also, my friends were choking on their pain medicine … is it possible to get a liquid pain medication?

Thank you for your assistance. I would appreciate your response.

There is a gap between my upper-right No.1 and No.2, and it used to be filled with composit resin attached to No.2. The filling has fallern out, and the No.2 tooth is a bit sensitive because it was chipped away a little to attach the resin. Could you cover the spot with composite resin again, without scaling any more? I would like to know about how much it costs. Thank you.
