My Teeth Are Broken and Black. What Can Be Done?

Q.
I am 71 and my teeth are broken and black. Could it be helped with a product, or could I have them all out? It would be nice to smile and talk to people without them commenting on my black teeth.

I would like them out but due to ill health and having a heart attack in 2006, is it wise to have this
done at my age? They do not hurt, some of them have broken off and left the root in my gums. They look unsightly to my family and friends, and most of all
myself when I look at them in the mirror.

A.
Thank you for your question. It sounds like you should have them removed and replaced with either dentures or implants. You will need to see a dentist for a full assessment of your mouth and medical history before beginning treatment. Kind regards, Andrew.
