Q. Hi, I am an nhs patient and do not have to pay dentist fees. I have recently been to the dentist because I suspected a tooth that had root canal treatment had become reinfected. The dentist confirmed what I thought but said that it may need a specialist to do the treatment, this will cost £700-800. The dentist who I am currently with are different to the dentist who did the treatment so should I go back to the original dentist? Also as I am a student it’s going to be hard to pay for the treatment is there any ways around this?
