My root canal tooth got reinfected what are my options

Q. hi, I am an nhs patient and do not have to pay dentist fees. I have recently been to the dentist because I suspected a tooth that had root canal treatment had become reinfected. The dentist confirmed what I thought but said that it may need a specialist to do the treatment, this will cost £700-800. The dentist who I am currently with are different to the dentist who did the treatment so should I go back to the original dentist? Also as I am a student it’s going to be hard to pay for the treatment is there any ways around this?

A. They may say that the tooth can only be extracted on the NHS so you could go back to your other dentist and ask his opinion
