My receding gums and spaces between teeth make it hard to chew, what can be done?

Q.
I have receding gums and I am getting large spaces between my teeth. I am finding it hard chewing most foods. Is there anything that can be done as I don’t want t loose my teeth.
A.
I would see a periodontist (gum specialist) for the optimal treatment and follow a strict gum maintenance program
