My Protruding Teeth Have Always Been Something That Have Caused Me To Have A Lack Of Confidence. How Would I Fix This?

Q.
Hello Mark. My two upper canine teeth protrude quite a lot and have done since I was very young. I was wondering if this can be corrected and if so, how? There are large gaps behind the teeth but overcrowding means the gap isn’t big enough and as a result they stick out in front of my other teeth. Would they be removed or would a brace be the best option? I’m 35 years old and this is has always been something that caused me to have a lack of confidence. Thank you, I look forward to your reply.

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on the information you’ve provided me with, I would say that orthodontics may be the answer. The first step of course is to come for a thorough examination and consultation to figure out all your options. There may be several ways to resolve things for you. There are many differing types of brace systems available these days and you can read about these through this website. I hope this helps to clarify things for you. Kind regards, Mark.
