Q. hi my problem is that when i talk you cannot see my teeth which i have been told makes me look like an old lady with no teeth which is very upsetting for me because i am on 23 years old. i have got perfectly fine big straight upper teeth behind my upper lip but i also have a negative bite, is there a way to correct this maybe bring my maxilla lower and forward and push the mandible back? thanks

A. It is difficult to give you advice without seeing you but you could possibly have surgery with orthodontics to correct your jaw positions.  Another alternative could be cosmetic work to show more teeth when you smile.
