My papilla have reduced in length is there a way to reduce the gap caused by it

Q. I have had some gum inflammation recently and have noticed that in some places the papilla have reduced in length creating some black triangles. These are not in the front teeth but more the small molars after the canines. My gum inflammation has gone now but really have a complex about these gaps. My periodontist told me that that because i have no bone loss the papilla should grow back. I have had a look on the internet and seen nothing that gives evidence to this. If they do not grow back is there a way to reduce the look of these gaps. I am looking to straighten my teeth can this help in any way? Thanks in advance for your help

A. It really depends on how much bone you have left.  There are options to re grow gum tissue by grafting these procedures are very good.  I would need to assess you to give you a full plan but I think you have your teeth straightened and then have gum grafting.

Thanks for the reply, I have read that these papilla do not regenerate and grow but my periodontist says they will grow due to the no bone loss. I just want to know if I am hoping for nothing.
