My orthodontist told me that I need 4 of my teeth extracting will Invisalign invisible braces still work ?

Q. I would like to straighten my teeth and have been told Invisalign could work. however, my main concern is i was once told by an orthodontist i need to extract 4 teeth to have conventional braces. Would the same apply with Invisalign? F

A. Dear F

Having read your email I would be surprised if Invisalign will work for you in this case.

If the crowding is sufficient to have warranted 4 extractions then it sounds like the crowding is too severe for Invisalign to work and traditional fixed appliances would be best.
I am quite anti-extraction with regard to orthodontics , so in my opinion, you should see a qualified orthodontist to talk about non-extraction treatment which would require a fixed brace.

Kind regards
