My lower teeth are jutted out
Q. My lower teeth are jutted out, is possible to get a reconstructive surgery on NHS and am I too old to have them done as I am 53 years old and am wearing denture on my upper jaw?
A. You cannot be descriminated against on grounds of age. You would need to have a sound reason why you need treatment age 53 and not before. Your appearance alone would not justify NHS treatment, the end result would have to deliver a health benefit.
Your Dentist or GP should be able to advise you and refer if appropriate.
