My lower front teeth are brown on the biting edge

Q. My lower front teeth are brown on the biting edge as the enamel has worn away and the dentine is showing. Would whitening remove this discolouration, please?

A. No but it would generally freshen up the appearance. In some cases you can mask the area by cosmetic bonding or tooth coloured filling can be used without drilling of removing tooth. Other cases would be more suitable for veneer / thinneer or lumineer tecniques, again drilling may not be needed.
