Q. Hi Dr my local NHS dentist recently informed me that most of my teeth are loose and very sensitive i have 7 top teeth, 2 which are very loose, and 10 bottom teeth,i have a partial denture(5)which causes me to urge from time to time,i am 80yrs old would appreciate your advice please. regards
A. I think the best thing to do is to have the very loose teeth extracted and added to the denture and then make sure that the remaining teeth are well looked after. You will need gum treatment around the rest of your teeth so that you don’t have to have them extracted as well
