My last teeth has been removed and my bottom dentures fall out if i eat anything advice please

Q. Hello Can you please help? I am 66 years old, and about 18 months ago I had my last teeth removed. Because I have Hyatis Hernia, I was having trouble with eating my food, so decided to see a dentist. He said I should wait a while as my gums will shrink, but because I was having trouble eating he decided to make a top and bottom set of dentures.I had no trouble with the top ones, but the bottom ones fall out if I eat anything, I have tried all types of fixatives, have been back about 4 times to have them adjusted, even went to another dentist. They both told me I do not have much bone in the bottom jaw, and that I probably wont be able to get a denture that will fit.I wonder if you can give me some advice on what to do. Many thanks

A. You could try implants to hold the denture firmly in place using either 2 or 4 implants. This is the best way to hold a loose denture in place, even when there is advanced bone loss, it is possible to place implants at the front of the lower jaw.
