My implant fell out, is this unusual and what can be done about it?

I have had an implant for 8 years recently the tooth became loose and after several days the the tooth fell out the xray showed a crack in the titanium implant and the screw was bending and finally broke. Is this unusual and should titanium be guaranteed. What would you recommend , does the implant have to be removed and start over again .

Problems can happen with all types of dentistry. It is likely that you ned the implant removed or may be just the bent screw and either a new implant placed or a new screw and crown
