Q. My husband has very bad teeth due to neglect and gum disease his gums have receded badly and his top teeth are all bonded together to hold them in place not only do they look unsightly but if he knocks them which he has done many times they came loose costing us about 600 dollars a year to keep in . He is will not do anything about them he is an entertainer and it doesnt look good, he is a very hansome man of 50 and I wont better for him what procedure could he have done to fix this. thankyou

A. The teeth will probably need removal and replacement either with removable teeth- dentures, or fixed teeth bridgework or implants. It will be expensive treatment but a worthwhile investment.
