Q. is it possible to have a problem with ur gum if u have a root canal and get the tooth removed?cause i got a root canal since then my gum started smelling really bad 24.7 for the past 2 years,and i got the tooth removed.with all its roots.can there be still a problem in the gum?cause it still smells bad after i got it removed.i got this fake tooth now that goes off and on.i have to wait tell im 18 and get a inplant.did u ever have patients with the same problems?i got this bump on the gum,when i feel the bump with my finger it feels like a bone.i went to the dentist but they dont wana tell me,they keep saying i dont know.this had been going on for a long time and im worried that there is somthing wrong with my gums,i was hoping u could help me.ty for ur time.
A. It sounds like an infection so it needs checking out. If there is a lump that is probably where the infection is draining causing the bad smell. Perhaps you should try and see another dentist in the practice for a second opinion.
