My front two teeth are more prominent than the other what are my options
Q. Hello i have a problem with one of my two front teeth, which is more prominent than the first, the problem for me is simply cosmetic, its very noticable when i smile as a have a broad smile and this particular tooth is noticably more orward than the other, i have also noticed that over the past year or so it seems to be moving more forward is there a possibility to aline so to spek this tooth, or to set straight both of the front teeth? i am 33 years old at present and im certain that this tooth is going to become more and more prominent than the rest of my teeth thank you, i look forward to your reply
A.
There are a couple of ways you can align teeth. 1 being Orthodontics using Invisalign which is a removable clear appliance or 2 being fixed braces ( brackets/train tracks ). Or you could look into Veneers/Crowns which involves slightly shaving millimetres off the tooth in order to set it back in line and permanently cementing a porcelain cover/cap over the top. This is obviously an invasive treatment but it is dependent on your preference or compliance to orthodontic treatment. Also it does depend on the severity of how far out of the arch the tooth protrudes therefore I would suggest have a consultation with your dentist to go over your options.
