My front tooth is discoloured would i have to get both teeth crowned or vennered?

Q. My front tooth is discoloured and is darker than the other front tooth. Its gradually got worse over the years although has not changed in the last year or so. Im aware that it is noticable and would like to get this rectified and was wondering whether I would have to get both teeth crowned or vennered to get a good colour match.

A.

discolouration is sometimes a sign of a dead tooth. An Xray will help to check it out. Assuming the tooth is stable, healthy, not heavily filled  and your bite is suitable most cases would work well with two veneers.
