My front, right tooth is stuck inside my gum, what can I do to get this fixed?

Q.
hi, i have a tooth problem where my front right tooth has sunk up into the gum its about quarter in since the last 5-6 years i had to have braces in for nearly a year to try and pull it down but it did not move at all, i forgot to attend two appointments after and so they took me off their dentistry register.
so now i have not done anything about it, but i am a bit worried that it could get worse, other than that i would like to have it level with my other front tooth.
i had x rays it showed the tooth was still alive but the colour is a little greyer than the others.

Any advise would be much appreciated, thank you in advance.

Hi, thanks for your question. A sinking tooth could be due to the root dissolving I would need to assess some x-rays to give you the best options, speak to your dentist , if the tooth is darkening that is also an indication that this tooth may be damaged.
