My denture keeps breaking, what can I do about it?
Q. Hi I have a cleft lip and palate! I currently wear a denture that acts as an obligator(sp) as without it in I cannot eat drink talk etc.. Is there anything I can do as they keep breaking and its causing me great distress!!

A. I guess you might need to consider a chrome denture to improve its strength and prevent breaking. Alternatively a full closure of the cleft and bone graft may be an option to allow you to convert to bridges or implants instead of a denture
