My dentist tells me that I have very few options to close the gaps in my mouth which missing teeth have left, could you give me any suggestions?

Q.
Hi, I have a gap in my front teeth that has bothered me for ages, but when I’ve asked my dentist about whether they could close the gap they said it would leave me with a bigger gap somewhere else as I am also missing my 2nd set of incisors, and the gap in my front teeth stop me from having gaps there. I’m only 19 so really just want to know if it would be viable to give me normal looking teeth, or wether I am just clutching at straws.

-Thanks & Kind Regards.

Dear Enquirer,
You are not clutching at straws…there are many options for you so don’t worry. The first thing I would suggest is you book an appointment with a cosmetic dentist who can guide you in the right direction. In theory you should be able to close the gap between the central teeth leaving a space to place implants or a bridge where you are missing your lateral incisors.

Sunita
