My dentist says lumineers are not as good as veneers, what do you think?
Q.
My wife is looking to have a gap repaired in her front teeth and them restored to their original length and have veneers. We are worried about the amount of preparation required for veneers and so the possiblity of lumineers is attractive. However our dentist says that luminers are just a thin version of a normal veneer and the result will neither be as durable or as asthetically pleasing since there will always be an “edge” where the veneer meets the tooth using the lumineer approach. What do you think. Regards.
