My dentist says i cant have braces for a gap between my teeth

Q. Iam a 20year old girl and since i was a child i had a gap in between my teeth, it didn’t bother me but as i got older the gap started to widen more, i went to the dentist and i asked if i could get braces but i was told i cant, i would like to know if i can get braces to help my gap in my teeth,

A. THe NHS has strict rules on what is covered by NHS tratment. It is not likely that you would qualify from the brief description given. However you should be able to have orthodontic treatment privately, there is no age limit. The costs might be £2000-4000 you would need an exam by an orthodontist.

Alternatives
cosmetic bonding of tooth coloured filling ( cost a few hundred)
Veneers costs about 400-600 per veneer generally at least 2 maybe 6 veneers needed.

Other
investigate the widening,  establish stability of the spaces from now on
