My dentist put my teeth back after they were knocked out

Q. I knocked out my two front teeth. i had my dentist put them in within two hours. Will my teeth be the same? will i look the same?

A. The likely hood is that the teeth will darken as the nerves and blood vessels within them have been damaged. They can be lost later if they fail to reattach themselves back and they are likely to require root canal treatment.. Fortunately they were placed back very quickly so they have the best chance of staying. Careful monitoring of the next few years to asses any changes in colour and any abscess formation is important.
