My dentist put a new crown that doesnt match with others please advice

Q. Hi Dr. Caplan, Recently I had crown lengthening done on tooth#8, and the height is still uneven, what are my options,also the dentist put a new crown that doesn’t match with the other teeth, please help, I am at my wits end! Thanks,

A. Dear.  Crown lengthening is not as predictable as we would like it to be. Sometimes it needs to be refined.  It is a very delicate operation.  Please discuss your concerns with your dentist.  If you wish for me to examine you please contact my surgery.
