My daughter’s bridge keeps falling out, what are our options?

Q.
Hello Doctor, I have a question I hope you can help with.

My daughter had her teeth adjusted by an orthodontist because some of her teeth never came in. The adjustment left a gap in her front teeth that the her dentist filled with a bonded bridge. The bridge has now fallen out 3 times over the past 4 months. Although the dentist has thus far reattached it without charge, I am sure it won’t continue and could not afford to continually have it reattached. Is this normal or should I be looking for another dentist?

Hello

Its difficult to assess on the story so far. Perhaps it discuss the timescale before the dentist plans before replacing the bridge. Also alternative long term options could be discussed.
An adhesive bridge is the most common solution for the first few years, implants are increasingly popular for definitive solutions.
Hope this helps
Rob
