My daughter’s tooth has been knocked out and I am worried other children will laugh at her. Can a kind of retainer be worn to cover it?

Q. Hi there, my 3 year old daughter has fallen and knocked out one of her front teeth, I know nothing can be done with her original tooth and obviously know nothing can be done on a permanent basis but is there and kind of retainer she can wear to bridge the gap, I am worried about other children laughing at her, its really noticable. Thanks, Gerri,
A. You won’t be able to get her to wear anything. I don’t think the kids will laugh at her, losing teeth is a normal thing for kids to do even if it is a bit early
