My daughter has an overbite due to thumbsucking
Q. My daughter is 13. She has an overbite due to thumbsucking. She is eligible for NHS treatment and to have a brace etc. However, the orthodontist is suggesting using the Damon system privately. The difference is between free treatment and £3,000! What are the real benefits beyond the marketing spiel for Damon and what are the key considerations we should be taking into account beyond the cost?
A.
Sorry for the delay during my annual leave
it depends on the individual case, I would suggest a second opinion from someone on the GDC (general dental council ) specialist list for orthodontists, Google GDC for data.
