My daughter has a calcium stain on her teeth, how can this be removed?

Q.
My daughter has a calcium stain on her front tooth. which she has had since she was little. I was going to book her into Ismile cosmetic whitening to try and remove as it is affordable. What is your opinion?
A.
How old is your daughter? Tooth whitening is usually only suitable to adults because the nerves of younger teeth can be adversely affected by bleaching if done too aggressively. Please take her to an experienced cosmetic dentist of paediatric dentist who has experience in cosmetic dentistry. There may be other options. Sometimes small calcium stains can be gently polished out of the tooth, or they can be removed and invisibly replaced with cosmetic dental bonding.

My daughter is 15yrs and the calcium stain is on the big front tooth. She doesnt like smiling because of it. The reason I asked was because I found a place called Ismile cosmetic teeth whitening that said they could bleach it out with laser in just over half an hour and the procedure wasnt expensive. I am living away from my natural country so that is why I was keen they dont have this in my aussie. I think.. Do you think my daughter is too young and I should wait till I go home in a year or would there be no harm in trying.?

Hi, I have been on antibiotics for almost three months and subsequently they have made my teeth go yellow. I was wondering how much it would cost to have my teeth whitened? Kind Regards
