My Crown Keeps Falling Out, Would The Fact I Have Had Chemotherapy Have Any Bearing On This?

Q.
hi im in the uk, my front crown has been falling out pretty regular, went to my dentist who is going to fix the crown next to the tooth that’s on a bridge. i’d like to know whether or not this will help the crown to stop falling out? to give you a bit of context about me, i’m 55 years old, in 2006 i was diagnosed with hodgkins lymphoma. following this i had chemo and in 2006 i was cured. i’d also like to know whether or not the chemo could have any effect on my teeth? i do go for regular check ups so it’s not like i’m a stranger to the dentist. do you think that it will be a new bridge with the tooth joined on to it? look forward to hearing your response. thank you.

Hello, thanks so much for your questions. I am sorry to hear about your troubles in the past but am glad that you have been cured. Regarding your dental situation, I would first need to assess your teeth and bone and then from there we could see what options are available to you.
