My crown is too big too long and doesnt meet my gumline

Q. I have just been to a dentist, to put a crown on a dead front tooth and i am sad to say i cannot smile any more, the tooth with the crown stands out its bigger and longer and dos’nt reach my gum line. can this problem be fix?. And if so can u please give and idea of the cost. thank u

A. Yes this problem can be fixed. Basically you need to have the crown replaced.
my advice would be to go and see a private dentist who crries out cosmetic work routinely. Usually when I make a crown fo a front tooth the patient always goes to the laboratory to have the shape and colour matched to the tooth next to it. I would charge £900 for a crown on a front tooth
